I don't think they actually put out an album but there are demoz floating about. I have a couple of demoz here with two different vocalists(A total of about 11 songz i think). I liked them a lot.

Yeah...They do have demos floating around.
The only thing I know is that Ruby Slippers drummer became the drummer in the band ASPHALT BALLET.

They recorded two demos during their years together, which was 1985-1987. They were very huge in LA, and were scouted by several labels, but it was decided apparently that they were too fem-glam. The singer (they only had one singer by the way Andii...) Nigel Itson was so over the top with it that he actually used to tape his chest together so it would look like he had cleavage...GREAT band... [img]smile.gif[/img]

They only had the one singer? That'z odd... i got these demoz yearz ago and it specifically say's on the demo tracklists that there were two singerz between that time and it actually DOES sound like a different singer on the one demo i have(Which features older songz redone with what soundz like a different singer). I guess the guy that traded me these a while back was wrong then? lol!

I guess it was the one song (`Sweet Irene`) that i referred to in the previous post about a different version of an older song.
I have a load of proper photos too by Ruby Slippers... loved that guitar the guitarist had with a pair of lace knickers over the body haha!

mykii was the singer when I first heard of Ruby Slippers.... actually in my most humble opinion which really doesn't matter to anyone here but the singer of ruby slippers was the guy from "decline of western civilization pt2 the metal years" that made fun of guys in makeup that passed out flyers- I think he was the one that said "ya I'll say ya I'll come to your show and once they leave I crumble up the paper and throw it to the ground" - ya I think that was him- he was kinda chubby in that movie so thats probably why not too many ppl recognize him. Back to my opinion- anyone who makes fun of being glam then becomes glam is an ass in my book.
